Welcome to summer school and our class blog. I wanted you to get familiar with this site because I will ask you to post responses here from time to time. When you respond all I ask is you use your first name and last initial. This is a public blog which means anyone in the world can see it.
I would like to do sort of a quick "get to know you" post. You may not realize this but you have peers in this class from all over the Panhandle of Nebraska. In an attempt to foster a sense of community I would like you to follow my example below and list seven things about yourself that you do not mind sharing in a public forum.

2.I have two daughters. Emily will turn 14 on June 21 and Madison is 4.
3. I am an only child. (People tell me that this explains a lot!)
4. I love technology and the latest gadgets.
5. In have a degree in Veterinary Technology from Eastern Wyoming College.
6. I absolutely love Mexican and Italian food.
7. I want to travel the world someday.

@Melissa....I am as bad as a teenager with my music. I am either plugged into my iPod or I am playing music on my Blackberry. Music is a HUGE part of my life. I love to sing and dance, but I CANNOT do either one at all! I want to go to Italy someday, too. I'd love to spend a time in Tuscany learning how to cook real Italian food!

@Michael Wow! Another only child. There are not many of us around. I also have two dogs and a cat. I have a Basset Hound and a Scottish Terrier. Something tells me you have been painting a lot lately!!
